Some models have an E1 Error too, so the meaning of both of these errors is the same. These Errors come in the indoor unit because a sensor is not working properly.

Hey Bro,
Great video and Article. I’m from Canada and we have this unit at home “LP0814WNR- 8,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner”. I have the E2 error code. Does your steps apply to this unit as well or which unit where you referring to?
yes, brother! you are in the right place. This article for you. If you facing a CH01 or E1 error in your LG air conditioner, it means your indoor air sensor faulty. You can check your Sensor in your indoor unit if it is a loose connection or open or damaged. As I know there is two sensors combined with the same connector in the PCB board. So check and reconnect it, inshallah your problem will solve. If still have the same problem, call a professional. So he can change the sensor and find out if PCB faulty.
Hope the answer is helpful.
